Portraits of the Messiah both in prophecy and fulfillment
I believe in the Besuras Haguelah. Does that sound strange?
It is simply the original version of the gospel or “Tidings of the Redemption”,
the source of the Good News.
This centers on the concept of the Messiah. Who can be the Messiah;
known as the “Anointed One? From the Greek he is referred to as
the Christ, in Hebrew He is a prophet like Moses, He is ben Yoseph (the
suffering servant) and ben David (conquering king), one who will come
in the clouds and riding on a donkey. Is this a concept or a condition
or a person? I believe much more than a concept. These terms come from
ancient depictions that we find installed in the writings of the Prophets.
We find the legal prerequisites in the older writings called the TaNaK
and the fulfillment in the Brit Hakadashah or Renewed Covenant. Once
people understand that very old Prophetic Portrait writings of the coming “Anointed
One” were completed in the life of one person, then we can KNOW
that we worship the right Savior. Without the fulfillment of all of the
prophecies, then we have a mere actor or deceiver. These are an example
of the Legal Requirements of the Redeemer to signal the true Anointed
One.
I call these “Polaroid’s of Messiah”, physical and
spiritual fulfillment’s of the kinsman redeemer. It tells us why
so much Jewish legal stuff provides us with the grace we know today.
